Winnie slams Mandela and Tutu
She makes a good point about Nelson Mandela being wheeled out to raise funds for his corporate charity and for the ANC, but misses the mark by miles in other criticism.
The woman must have missed the fact that the ANC did not win the struggle. I don't recall her objecting to a negotiate settlement in the early '90s.
She attacks the Truth & Reconciliation Commission: "What good does the truth do? How does it help anyone to know where and how their loved ones are killed or buried?" I suppose the family of Stompie Sepei might have had a passing interest.
And then Mrs Madikezela-Mandela, who kept her married surname, whinges: "This name 'Mandela' is an albatross around the necks of my family." Because nobody in the family ever cashes in on the name...
