I found things worked in Italy to a reasonable extent (on my three admittedly brief visits). They could perhaps have adopted an artheads only policy at the Uffizi and saved me queueing though.

Ah. You might recall that Matt and I went there on an architecture tour, the one where the chap stood took the group to see a new building and found the previous building was still standing.

At the time I thought we'd been charged a fair bit for this level of insider info and for him making a few phone calls about flights and hotels.

Sounds like we got a bargain.
