    Christmas OTFathons

I finish work on the 16th of December and go back on the 4th of January. There's got to be a London OTFathon in that time, surely?

    Any initial suggestions?

(I thought I'd include the plural in the thread title, so that OTFers the whoooolle world over can mention theirs in one handy place too.)

Jon, CTT, DG, Noj, Ian64, anyone else Midlandy - are we having a do this year? And where this time? Are we back over Leamington again? Or somewhere else consdiering January's League game?

Leamington are home to Merthyr Tydfil on the 19th of December. Failing that, they're at home to Stourbridge on the 9th of January.

I'd prefer to do the 19th though. Portsmouth v Liverpool is the early afternoon game and Arsenal v Hull is the late one.

All welcome. We can all pile back to mine for more ale and Mario Kart on the Wii if anyone's up for it. Kip over in the spare room as well if you like.

WOM: is it a 'thon if you and I have a beer at Finn's?

I am meeting a few friends in London on the 18th Friday, so i am happy to dump them early and attend.

Also leamington v merthyr sounds tempting on the 19th

I'll rack 'em up, you knock 'em down.

Of course, if for some very strange reason anyone is in TO over XMAS (Wyatt, are you visiting the in-laws?) we'll provide hospitality - so, y'know, GO, if you actually *are* available...

The 19th in Leamington sounds divine. So that's CTT, Phoebe, me, probably Duncan Gardner. Rick - it would be great to see you make a guest appearance too. And anyone else, of course.

Maybe. Not sure if I'm down here or up there this Christmas. Much depends on when my sister is due to drop her twins.

A Saturday evening thing post-FC United would work for me.

                                    Anyone?

                                    No? Fine. Be that way.

Duncan Gardner has confirmed his attendance by text just now. He's also seen that Ali Baba Balti on Bath Street here in Leam has been given a good review in todays's Guardian, so it looks like we've found somewhere to have a festive feast at some point in the proceedings.

Now if that doesn't get more people coming along, I don't know what will...

Yes, and this time make sure you turn up.

I'm making this a project, so I'll be mithering all North-West based OTFers about this starting soon. We haven't had a thon for about five years.

BTW does Dave O'Byrne still post on here (I don't know what name he uses now)?

Sree Krishna? I'd be up for that. And Lyra could even come along and not be pissed off, even slightly, by anything I ate.
