I can't even drive, so I don't know why I'm answering this!
Usually, such devices have a 'manual override' eject mechanism. That is, a tiny hole somewhere on the front (or maybe the back) of the device which you simply stick a piece of sturdy wire through until it hits a lever somewhere inside and it ejects the CD/DVD. Mostly, you'll need to have the device turned off, but not always. Of course, if such a hole should be on the back, you'd need to remoce the player from its bay anyway.
Like I said, my experience of this is extremely limited, so I'm probably totally wrong!
How did it get stuck in, or will the usual eject method just not work? Did you put a second disk in and get two jammed?
If the standard eject isn't working I'd guess there's a fault with the unit but you could try:
Double sided tape on a butter knife/credit card/other flat thing and fishing around.
Remove the head unit, remove the cover and work it out from there (or maybe just hold it slot down and shake it).
I assume if it wont come out that the CD mechanism is still sitting in the 'play' position to hold it on the hole in the centre so removing the cover may be the only way. You'll need a couple of the long 'head unit removing bars' - I don't know what they are called - to remove it but it's pretty easy.
You could try just disconnecting the battery and reconnecting. This might reset it.
Back when I'd first learned to drive, I got "Lloyd Cole and The Commotions 1984-1989" stuck in the tape player for about 5 months.
I still bloody love that album though.
A few decent solo albums. A few fairly average ones.
Nothing as good as Easy Pieces or Rattlesnakes, but still worth having a go on. Lloyd Cole (his first solo one) and Love Story (his 4th or 5th) are highlights.
