Personally I want to know where election candidates stand on the "what is oozing out of our ground?" issue before casting my vote. Probabilistically speaking it's a useful way of knowing where they stand on other issues such as "why has the air started moving against my face and making trees wobble?" and "MY GOD! There are great big bits of water falling out of the sky! What are we going to do about it?"
