    Hurrah for FIFA!

Once again, their constant vigilance has protected both us and football from the ever present threat of encroaching evil.

    - this time in the form of Nico Rosberg

(And he'd've gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for them meddling brand-compliance officers…)

Fifa said plans by the Mercedes driver to use an image of the trophy would breach "intellectual property" rights.
In a statement, FIFA said it was "obliged to take action against any unauthorised reproduction of its intellectual property in a commercial context".

God Forbid a German driver (sorry...MONACO driver) wear a World Cup-celebrating helmet for a German car company at the German Grand Prix.

    Pathetic. And sad.

      That's a little ad hominem, isn't it?

After all, it's not as if he had any great say in moving to Meccano in the first place, is it?

Just kidding. Obviously he doesn't still live there because he wants to avoid paying German taxes.

But he should be allowed to wear the helmet.
