King Luis, or may Antoine net? QF1: Uruguay v France

Yeah, it's two days away, but let's get these bad boys up and running.

No muscle tear for Cavani, but looks like he's unlikely to start.

Just admit it, you have compulsory clever thread title composition disorder.

Meanwhile, North Europe's finest meet while Germany and their mini-me sulk and Colombia trail home (although maybe not immediately, the Argentines and even Peruvians are still there in number).

That makes Go Kane look a whole lot better

I could have looked at that for an hour and still never worked it out

Cavani is a huge loss, like James was for Colombia. I could see Uruguay settling for a shoot-out, or even "doing a Colombia".

Would love Mbappe to repeat his form from Saturday but Uruguay are more solid than Argentina.

Yes, I agree- sans Cavani it could be a long night for Godin-Jimenez-Muslera

Cavani now looks extremely unlikely to play, Stuani the replacement.

If he's not playing at all, you can lay him to score on Betfair at 4.3 - similar odds to Suarez and Mbappe. Odds relate to 90 minutes only.

Usually they just refund the stake in those circs, I think.

So what do the Middlesbrough fans here have to say about Cristhian Stuani?

Stuani actually could do it on a cold Tuesday in Burton.

                                          Fuck them up!

Godin is in my top three players so far this tournament. He's been amazing.

                                                  I can do both.

Uruguay are being a bit physical so far. I admire the falling on the player you've gone through when they roll into you though,
