All Time League Table

I reckon an average point table would be an interesting exercise. Though that could reward teams for failing to qualify.
It seems strange not to count Germany's 1934 and 1938 results (though excluding 1938, when Germany and Austria fielded a "united" team, might be fair). Add Germany's 10 points from the two 1930s World Cups, and the point difference to Brazil is suddenly only 3; at least for the time being.

Well, the averages table, with points placing in brackets. I was going for a Top 20, but Belgium in 21st might improve their average. The greatest gains are made by Croatia, Denmark and Senegal. In 10th place, England and Portugal -- 11 places apart on points -- are level. Sweden, down by 10 places, Serbia and Mexico (drop out of the Top 20) are the biggest losers in this calculation.
