Bendtner's underpants to be probed by UEFA

Apparently he was guilty of some flash marketing, or just flashing. Maybe a combination. Enduring image though, isn't it?

Something tells me this sanction would have been delayed if Denmark had gone through last night.

The worst thing about this is that future UEFA tournaments will be subject to the same weirdly strict brand protection around the Olympics (if they're not already).

25,000 euros for letting off fireworks, throwing missiles and invading the pitch.
30,000 euros for letting off fireworks, displaying illicit banners and invading the pitch.
100,000 euros for displaying illicit waistband.

Tomorrow's hearing regarding the racist chanting should be interesting.

No unofficial scarf sellers anywhere near the stadium. Just official merchandise tat.

Still not sure if that's UEFA policy or just lack of interest in football from the residents of Poznan.

Yeah, but did they clamp down on what people are wearing, or the soap dispensers in the stadiums? That's next.

I'm made up that Bendtner has been carpeted for this, as that's ten twatball points to redeem an otherwise disappointing performance.

What about Ronaldo last night, seeking out a camera so he could show off the Nike logo on his vest?
