If Djokovic doesn't repeat his Rome Masters win of last year (and let's face it, he won't, Federer and Nadal are both still in the field) Andy Murray moves up to World number 3.
Which will be the highest World Ranking attained by a British player since anyone began thinking in terms of "world rankings", when the Open era began in 1968.
Fred Perry would probably have been "ranked" no.1 in the late 30s, had they done that kind of thing in those days, but setting that aside, Murray will eclipse both Rusedski and Henman (who both only got as high as number 4).
Fair enough? Murray as Britain's best-ever player for the last 40 years, at least? What do people think?
