He's from Malaysia. He is a current World Singles Champion, of a sport that historically had been the preserve of champion players from Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, some of whom were household names among sports fans in those countries. And yet he doesn't even seem to have his own Wikipedia page. Almost everyone in the UK lives near a town where there are active clubs that allow you to participate in the sport he's World Champion of. Any guesses as to what that sport is (and suggestions as to why his rise to 2008 World Champion status certainly passed me, and quite a few others, I expect, by)?
