Come on Ireland!
There are a reasonable number of Americans who play golf on public courses (I used to be one of them), but nowhere near enough to justify network coverage of just about every PGA tournament (including classics like the John Deere Open) and a dedicated cable channel that shows nothing but golf.
Of course here, we have a dedicated cable channel for sailing, for much the same reason.
The Italian advertising community has been trying mightily to make rugby into the "team sport for people with loads of disposable income" for several years, but is having difficulty gaining traction (in part because they keep losing).
