What's the format for these matches? Presume it can't be four-day with amateurs as they'd have jobs to go to.
Somerset did indeed get the match wrapped up today so they're still top of the Championship.

Minor Counties cricket.
May/ early June - Group stage of Twenty20 competition. Fixtures played on Sunday's. Four regional groups of five teams. Each side plays two others at home and two away - each matchday is played as a double header of two fixtures v the same opponent. Group winners qualify for finals day at end of August.
Late June to September - Championship. Games played over three days (Sunday to Tuesday). Two regional groups of ten (eastern and western divisions). Each side plays six fixtures, three home and three away. Two divisional winners meet in Championship match.
May to August - Knockout cup played over 50 overs. Fixtures played on Sunday's.
Next season the Championship is changing. Each region will be split into first and second divisions, each containing five sides. Teams will play four three days fixtures - two home and two away.
Also next season The Minor Counties will be no more - they are rebranding as the National Counties Cricket Association.

Lancashire eventually shut up shop on 275 - 140 runs adrift with six wickets still left. Couldn't help but think if they had shifted Vilas and Croft up the order instead of Hameed they might have had a proper go at this.
Durham, now on real roll, win against Leicestershire despite posting a miserable total of 117 first innings. Cameron Bancroft may be a dirty, rotten sandpapering cheat but his captaincy is turning them around.

Got my stats wrong above as Lancs were only 115 adrift at stumps and with some extra push earlier could have really challenged the 391 needed. In this context Hameed's half ton - whilst a desperately needed show of resiliance - took 116 balls and didn't help the cause.
Good question about Hameed keeping his place. I would suggest that when Livingstone is fit again Hameed wil be out of the first XI.
