Having a dedicated darts thread is probably a good idea though. I always struggle to remember which association is which and who plays when and on what channel. So even if I didn't post on it I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person to read it and learn something.

So the CWC has set a new high watermark for a single event's post count since the move from OldTF, going above both Rio 2016 and London 2012 as well as the estimated total for the 2015 RWC.
American Football posting on here continues to decline. The combined NFL + College post count used to give baseball a run for its money but now it's slipped into mid-table. Basketball has moved up the ranking though I think this is more from maintaining a steady count rather than growth.
I'll have a look at patterns over time at some point but I suspect there's been a fair bit of tailing off, perhaps in line with the number of regular users of the board though. I think we're seeing similar on the football leagues and tournaments threads.

With what's happening on the amateur side though, there's quite a lot to talk about. The fact the BDO may be no more in 6 months time really is something...
Plus some/several posters find the animal welfare and gambling aspects of the sport problematic and feel the need to vehemently express their opinion rather than ignore the threads.
