And just to expand on that, Portugal have a single bronze. So in 2016, the winners of the two big international football prizes, and the world's top-ranked Test cricket team, have one Olympic medal between the three of them.
I wonder what the exchange rate would be for the average English (sic) sports fan? Would a semi final at the Euros be worth losing all the golds except a token one (which is what happened in 1996)?
I don't think Portugal or Pakistan would swap.
