This has been a big story in NZ and it isn't going away.

They tried "nothing to see here", and a few years ago it might have worked, but it's not good enough now.

Thanks for that tee Rex, quite a story.

        The story gets worse:

On Wednesday, a sign promoting sexual consent, which said "No means no", was taken down at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, the venue of the first T20I. After security personnel confiscated the banner and escorted the woman holding it away from her seat, NZC and stadium officials apologised for the act and said it was an over-reaction.

99 to win, 5 wickets remaining, new ball due in 18 overs and a stand approaching the century mark. Going to be an interesting next couple of hours for SL.

Four wickets fell for 20 runs but the last pair have put on 37, needing another 41. New ball just taken.

                Lanka need four more runs

                  They have done it!

One of all-time great innings from Perera.

And Perera, who had clubbed Steyn for six in the last over, gets them off Rabada. Scenes

Wow! Unbelievable last wicket partnership take SL to victory. Kushal Perera with a superb unbeaten 150.

78 for the last wicket, of which Perera got 36 in boundaries

Record tenth wicket stand in a successful chase.

Fernando got five of the 78, four of them from overthrows.

That's astonishing. I'm sad to have slept through it.

I'm relieved I was out with a bunch of toddlers as I don't think I could have dealt with the tension.

It was amazing how quickly the time went, due to the boundaries.

That last wicket stand was so impressive that I really didn't mind Sri Lanka winning. Those overthrows were absurd, and illustrated the panic of the SA team.

Considering how dreadful Sri Lanka have been recently this must count as one of the major shocks of recent times. Winning an away test is tough in test cricket at the best of times but to do it in very different conditions to their home series is something else.

In an age of endless cricket Sri Lanka just gave us a special moment

Nice little piece reflecting on the Sri Lankan win.

Perera may have played the greatest ever innings according to the experts.

It''s an uphill battle in the second Test. Incredibly the match is into only session two of day two but there have been 23 wickets already. Sri Lanka fell 68 short of South Africa in the first innings but have them at 56/3 in the second. That said, if the pitch is this tricky the chase required at the end may be well beyond them....

SL needed to follow those wickets up with some more soon after but it's not happened yet. Lead looking like it will be too imposing now.

Well, there's the two quick wickets. Better late than never. Faf still going though.

Tea taken - SA on 91/5 and lead by 159 (which is already above SL's first innings 154).

And another one after tea... but FdP is still there.

This is going to end up like England v Pakistan last year, isn't it?

Two captivating Test matches, a 1-1 scoreline. And no decider.
