    The Pinkification of women's sport

I refer the honourable members to the response I gave some months ago.

Edit - actually Barrington Sports selection does seem to have improved in the intervening 15 months. Pink is still an option, but not an obligation now when buying with them. Maybe I should direct Serin's attention that way...

One of the things I noticed at the Kia superleague final wasn't anything to do with pink.

None of the printing on the shirts fitted. When the players tucked their shirts in properly the bottom ¼ of their numbers weren't visible.

      Why is that so hard?

Not a fan at all. Especially ludicrous given the "Blue and Gold Pride" hashtag.

WTA Tour Finals. The court is coloured lilac. But then, the WTA, for all it's huge and important success as a Women's sport organisation (the top 11 earners in the most recent Forbes highest paid female athletes list were all Tennis players) does have an affinity, let's say, with pink. It's pretty rare for both players to be entirely pink free. In the match currently on for example, Belinda Bencic has a pastel pink skirt. And one of the racquet bags sitting courtside is hot pink. Also the WTA logo shades from hot pink to purple. See logo and some typically attired Tennis players in Nottingham this summer:- https://www.visit-nottinghamshire.co...ilProFullWidth
