Coming to an end now, but ES2 are showing highlights from the semi final at the moment. Never really watched AFL before but it looks damn good fun. And this Luke Breust player for Hawthorne seems pretty handy.

AFL Finals 2015
Ah, hadn't realised that they had reached that stage.
How I miss Melbourne Arab's weekly updates on St Kilda and things AFL.
Hawthorn/Freemantle in one semi; West Coast/North Melbourne in the other.
Should be entertaining and close. Three of those teams were the top three during the regular season; the Kangaroos are the 8th seeded outsiders.

Bit of inconsequential controversy in this Hawthorn-Crows game. That lad Breust had a score ruled out by the video umpire as they didn't think he made contact with the ball just as it was going towards the line, but I thought you could just see it wobble a little. Inconsequential, though, as Hawthorn have/had a massive lead.

Without attempting to bring everything back to Rugby League, there's a strong possibility of an equivalent in the NRL this year - there'll be at least one non Sydney team in the final, and most probably two.

Hawthorn into a fourth Grand Final in row. Hopefully the Eagles can join them. Whatever happens, it has been a amazing effort by West Coast. They have had two of their best defenders missing all year and a third either out or playing with a damaged shoulder.
Jack Darling was also missing for a chunk of the season and Natanui missed crucial games because of the death of his mother.

Eagles overcome a 19 point deficit at quarter time to run over the Roos. Hawthorn hot favourites for next. Incredible effort by the Eagles who most experts didn't pick for the top eight even before the injuries to Brown and Mackenzie.
