I'm o.k. straight and in the offside, I have major problems at the moment with anything on the legs whether it's short or full. I don't know why but I get my timing all wrong.
I made 14 not out at the end of the innings last night and they were all straight drives or square cuts. And it was the muddiest wicket you've ever seen. But we played regardless.

I meant to add that they were all ones and two twos because the ball wouldn't travel more than aobut 20 metres before pulling up in the wet grass.

Doesn't the ball still need to be a good length? If it's short AND you're on the back foot then you're driving a ball that could be waiste high, you're just gonna plop it up to the bowler or (short) mid on/off.
