And to give you the God's Honest, who knows what would've happened if LT and Tippet switched. While LT won a Super Bowl and was obviously astonishing, Tippet took what was at the time one of the goofiest, lamest, clown-town franchises to the Super Bowl.

I have to admit to forgetting completely your allegiance, but the barb in "bar none" was specifically aimed at LT. Not that it was anything the man himself did, rather the seemingly incessant comparisons with LT the pundits made whenever Tippett was mentioned. Not that it's any kind of excuse I know, but it's always grated that Tippett couldn't exist in his own right.Comment
