They are very good at one day cricket, and especially in Asian conditions. But they are dogshit at test cricket away from home, and have been for most of their history.Comment

This is true, yet they've had recent spells of being pretty good. They only lost one Test in England between 1996 and 2011. I think they've been particularly awful this time. Has any touring side ever had a worse-performing top order?Comment

This year is not as bad as some others because they started out OK (well England bowled poorly in the first two games). In the last two Tests, however, I think they were as bad as any Indian team has been since maybe the 1960s.Comment
