Nathan Rourke is something else. First game back after breaking his foot mid-season and it was like he never left. Special mention to short-yardage QB Antonio Pipkin (surely one of sports' great names) who deked Calgary's D out of their collective pants by dropping a perfect end-zone pass to seal the deal. Kudo's to Lions new ownership too who laid on free buses to bring fans from the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and BC's interior.

TBF we'll probably get done like dinner in Winnipeg, especially as this BC team hasn't played in serious cold yet.

In Winnipeg it's -6 and snowing. Not ideal conditions for the Beastly Lions from the balmy coast.

Edit: So the Bombers march downfield and score inside four minutes... this could get ugly fast.

And Lions first possession ends with a blocked punt, after two downs. Natch.

Edit: Wait! The call's been reversed. It's now roughing the kicker. But it's two downs and out again.

Now BC's punt is fumbled by Wninipeg retrieved by BC and it's a TD!

Not sure what the current temperature is. The Lions are doing well keeping game as close as it is.
