Let's see if Curran can make it four.

Lancashire now 443/4 with Jennings currently 225 not out. Obviously they’ll post a huge score then bowl after tea, but with the nippy but limited Luke Wood and honest medium pace trundler George Balderson as first change bowlers and not much in the wicket for Parkinson I’m struggling to believe Lancashire can take twenty wickets here.

        Close. Gone for 78.

Surrey currently 547-7. This Kent attack is going to set some records this season, none of which they'll cherish.

Northants declare on 597 for 6

Somerset do so on 591 for 7

            Masood reaches 800

(not today, obviously, he;s got 87 so far today, but he's now reached 800 for the season)

                Strange reluctance to post 600+?

2 of Sussex's top 5 record their highest ever FC scores - Oliver Carter made 72 whilst Tom Clark gets his second ever century and is currently 105no. Yet another long, fruitless (and increasingly more people are saying pointless) season for Leics.

Surrey now on 671-9, with no centuries. Not sure I've ever seen a scorecard quite like it.

                        Yes, it's quite peculiar.

I suspect Surrey are delaying declaring as they know that they're going to be spending the rest of the game chasing the ball around in the field.

Masood was out for a frankly poor 113

Glamorgan end up with a 54 run first innings lead.

Hard to argue with Somerset's timing with Gloucestershire now 94 for 4.

Well we had the Tykes at 68/4 but Root and Brook are in their stride now.

As I typed the above Brook was bowled by Parkinson.

In which case Root looks in control and set for a big ton.

Somerset well on their way to an innings victory

Glamorgan have a real chance at the Riverside

Lancashire enforce the follow on at Headingley.

Lyth goes for 2 in the second innings.

The updated race to 1000 runs.

                                              1 (+2) Masood 826
                                              2 (+2) Brook 758
                                              3 (-2) Dickson 750
                                              4 (-2) Pujara 720
                                              5 (=) Compton 670
                                              6 (+1) Malan 528
                                              7 (-1) Madsen 517
                                              8 (=) Haines 514
                                              9 (+1) Duckett 496
                                              10 (NE) Lees 490

There's a reason why this has happened so infrequently, and it's looking like it will need an exceptional match from Masood, Brook, Dickson or Compton now. Pujara surely won't get another bat before the end of May, and it'd be something extraordinary for anyone below them to make it.

Meanwhile weather and some good rearguard actions mean only a couple of results.

Yeah, we were visiting friends and every time I clicked on to the livestream another wicket had gone. To be honest, as soon as Labuschagne went last night, I expected us to lose.
