The women's T20 tri-series in Australia is very tight after India impressively chased down 173 to beat the hosts. With one game left, between England and Australia, Australia need to win to reach the final. If they do win then all three teams will be tied on four points but Australia would be guaranteed to get through on NRR. Given how dominant Australia were in England last summer, it's good that they've been dragged back to the other two.

Radio commentary in NZ is set to end. The current broadcaster (Radio Sport) doesn't want to pay the asking price, and it may just be the public to-and-fro of negotiations, but unless a deal with NZ Cricket is reached ... Coney and Waddle, farewell.
One of those things that you assume will always be there in summer, but with no licence fee, no anti-siphoning law, and not much competition, if the commercial radio station doesn't want it, then it's gone.
Made worse by Radio Sport's statement: "Radio Sport will continue to keep Kiwi cricket fans in the know across next summer with match updates, robust opinion, in-depth analysis and plenty of talkback." A classic example of the insulting, "you're getting less so we'll pretend it's more" public relations crap.

It sounds a bit like they'll try to do something like the BBC did without live access to the recent series in South Africa. A load of pundits gabbling on from a studio in London (or possibly Manchester) with Agnew doing the occasional live report on the phone from the ground. It was woeful, but sometimes preferable to the banality of the talksport commentators.
Do cricket on the radio properly. It's not a big ask.
