Incidentally, Pakistan's sports channel (PTV Sports) is carrying this as a free stream on their website and it doesn't seem to be geo-restricted.

            http://sportslive.ptv.com.pk

A little choppy and laggy.... and that's just the batsmen, ho ho.

Bugger, either the site is down or PTV have now been told to geoblock their stream.

Yeah, I think so. Ah well, going ''unofficial' then.

Actually, think I'll switch over to Essex v Kent, which is now underway and has a proper free stream.

Edit - Ha, and I picked the exact moment that they declared.

                      Decidedly underwhelming from England, this.

South Africa have bowled well – good use of slower balls, decent variety and imagination. Big test now

The way I normally watch cricket in the US seems to be geoblocked. I guess I'll have to do the old-school thing of just "watching" cricinfo.

Well now we find out if England can bowl when they need to. 300 seems a very low target nowadays in 50 over games.

Well it looks like Archer can.

I say this every time he plays but Quinton de Kock sounds like a Tory Party candidate.

England ahead on the worm, but wickets are needed as SA have got enough in hand to up the run rate soon I think. England had an unusually steady gradient throughout their innings.

This South African side has got a much longer tail than many of their predecessors. England favourites now, and big favourites if Amla can't come back.

FFS. South Africa add 28 off those two overs. Which does this to the worm:

Amla still being assessed for concussion but might return.

What looked like rubbish leg-side shortish delivery gets Kevin the wicket he was after.

That's an absolutely dreadful shot from Duminy in the circumstances.

I've got some Barmy Army types in front of me & the wife and they've been subdued for most of the day but now England are looking in control they're running through their full repertoire, the insufferable twats.

One very good thing about The Oval is plenty of places to wander off to and still watch the game. In excellent news for the rest of the tournament, the official brewers are supplying a White Beer (but apparently no bitter).
