The Dodgers have somehow managed to lose four in a row in St Louis. At the same time, the Padres snuck another win out yesterday - despite throwing away a 5 run lead at one point. Which means that we are - however briefly - at the top of the NL West.Comment

Dodgers have a had a hard time in St. Louis in recent years (although mostly in the playoffs). The true bogey team last year was the Reds.
It's been a true Chicago spring: one day it's sunny and in the 50s with no wind and the next it's rainy, windy, and in the 30s. There is no way at this point in the season (with the Cubs having been on the road and in AZ for spring training) that they are taking advantage of home weather, but they do seem to be playing up to their talent level since coming home.Comment

Taking a break from football to watch some of the Angels-Cubs game. I can't remember when the Angels switched to the red gear but they just seem to blend in with other red/white or red/gray uniforms that are much more interesting. I'd prefer it if the Angels went back to the darker hats and lettering:
