    Twenty20 Champions' League...

...to feature eight teams - two domestic sides from England, India, Australia and South Africa. Winner gets $5m. Wow.

Just heard Aggers read that on TMS. Makes the domestic 20/20 Trophy much more significant. Boycott seems very sceptical. The idea of matches in Dubai doesn't appeal to me. Though one wonders who will actually play for Rajasthan and Chennai.

Yes. Graham Thorpe and Paul Nixon are currently having a rather dull debate on Sky Sports about what will happen if a) Kevin Pietersen signs for an Indian side, b) both that Indian side and Hampshire qualify for the 'champions league'.

It's a fair point, albeit the example is poor: Hants aren't going to win the Twenty20.

Nor are either Rajasthan or Chennai likely to sign KP. Has anyone actually seen either the South African or Australian teams? Boycott claims that Titans are decent, but says he hasn't seen KwaZulu.

Victoria (Shane Warne's home state, but he's quit domestic cricket Down Under) have won the Aussie competition three years in a row, so they'll be good.
