"Aussie Ana" has proved she's not a choker.

      6-4, 6-3.

Highly entertaining final. There was five breaks of serve in the first set, and rather than being evidence of poor play, it was rather a case of both just switching off at crucial moments and being punished for it. Plenty of games could have gone either way. Overall, Ivanovic was the better player.

        Now for Nadal v Federer....

Really can't see anything but a straight sets win for Rafa.

Fed will have my admiration just for trying to compete.

John Lloyd agrees with me that if Federer wins today he deserves to be considered the greatest player of all time.

I agree with John Lloyd and Rogin.

              Early break to Rafa.

                Make that 2 early breaks.

Fred Stolle (former French Open winner) and Wally Masur (former French Open semi finalist) are doing the Australian tv commentary. Both said Roger needed to win the first set. If that's true, he's in the shit already.

2 early breaks... this is looking very ominous.

                      3 breaks. First set 6-1.

Federer hasn't won a point on his second serve.

what a difference 20 minutes makes. 2-2 in the second, and federer starting to make shots.

Borg, the only other player to win it 4 times in a row, presents the trophy.

Where does this leave Federer? If he doesn't win Wimbledon, the 15 grand slams to beat Sampras could suddenly be in doubt.

I ended up watching the Darts (v Barneveld beat Taylor 10-9) as I was embarrassed for Federer in the last set.

Nadal is unplayable on clay, but Federer should still win Wimbledon. Although it could be any one from three (Djokovic and these two)

Don't be so sure. Nadal took him pretty much to the wire last time and clearly his confidence will be high this time. He's playing Queens to get his grass game in shape and he'll be well prepared. Plus, I'm not sure that Federer has fully recovered from that early season virus - he's never looked as sluggish on court as he did today, Nadal's brilliance notwithstanding.

I'm going for a Nadal win at Wimbledon.
