BBC4 Deadliest Crash Le Mans Thing

Anyone else see this very interesting documentary about the 1955 Le Mans disaster where Levegh's Mercedes jumped a wall and ploughed into the crowd, killing nigh on 100 spectators? Some really good eyewitness accounts from drivers and spectators, unseen and famous footage as well as a computer reconstruction of what happened.

And what twit thought building a racing car's panelwork out of magnesium was a good idea? Did he not do flame tests at school?

I only caught the last five or so minutes. As it's on BBC4, I'm assuming I'll be able to catch it at sometime in the future.

Personally, I find the footage really upsetting, though - part of the reason I didn't watch it at the weekend. However, I'll steel myself when it's on again and give it a look. Some Sheffield acquaintances of mine did (at least some of) the music for it, btw.
