A proper lugged steel bike with the thin tubes is the only way to go. Hopefully someday somebody will win a big race on one again and all these new-fangled bikes will finally be put to shame.
This is a vintage thread gentlemen - well done. There is more bike porn on this page than one man can cope with.
TPC, your brother's bike is a thing of beauty. How cool does that look and I tell you what, those wheels are damn funky.
The Fondriest is a good looking bike and I really like that de Rosa. One of the Giro teams are riding some nice de Rosa's, I can't remember which team, LPR maybe?
My brother has one of the regular team Cervelo bikes. I am itching for a shot on it, but am waiting till he gets a computer set up. I am sure that I can obliterate the speeds the staid, non-cycling sod puts on it. Jealous? Me?
I am worried that Bryan thinks his bike has ugly colours incomparison to the pink-white abomination.
