I've always thought North American sports fans are a pretty uncreative bunch. Sure you get elaborate, but predictable, costumes at the Raiders, Browns and other places, always accompanied by the utterly unexpected "We're #1" mouth movements. Hockey's generally worse with it's brain-dead "Go [insert team name] Go!" chant, which never alters from decade to decade. So when these guys suddenly appeared at Canucks games it was a pleasant surprise.
They seem to favour Predators games probably because they're not a great draw, and tickets by the penalty box are fairly easy to get. They've had mixed reviews, some find them "weird and creepy" but that's a big plus in my book. Provided they continue to appear irregularly I'm happy for them to limbo under a pretty low bar.
