The BBC, at least, has had a cracking weekend, benig able to focus on Jessica Ennis's increasingly realistic hopes of a heptathlon gold medal. Apparently she's anticipated to lose much of her current lead in the sixth event, the javelin, so it could be almost literally a straight race for the gold when the leaders line up in the 800m later tonight.
The Men's 100m will, as always, be something special tonight, as well - semis begin about 6 o'clock GB time, with the final itself at 8.30.
