          And he won the thing too... although Del Potro fell apart after the second set breaker.

          Its quite possible that if he loses early in Cincinatti (starting today) and Nadal wins it, Nadal will go back to Number 2.

            It's also possible that if Murray wins the US Open, with Federer losing in the QFs (like he did in Montreal) Murray will actually become world number one.

              Yeah, that is theoretically possible. But in practice there is no way Federer will lose before the semi-finals in New York. He probably won't lose at all...
