First the eyepatch bloke from Dr Hook; now the Captain. Who next? Howard Jones' dancer?

This is already worse than 2016, when we lost Prince and David Bowie.

Without the Captain, we would never have had the likes of Kraftwerk.

Ralf Hütter wanted to wear a captain's hat in tribute, but Florian talked him out of it.

Everybody was dancing with him, according to Paul Nicholas.

Without Love Will Keep Us Together, there would be no Love Will Tear Us Apart.

                It's a terminated talent tsunami.

Indeed, although theirs wasn't even the first cover version of the former tune.

I quite liked the C&T's Lonely Night (Angel Face) which went gold in America during 1976. (Like most of their US hits, it tanked over here.)

                  RIP, obviously.

Another Beach Boy gone. C&T are probably my favouritist guilty music pleasure.

No guilt about it. "Love Will Keep Us Together" is great. And Toni Tennille was incredibly hot.

                      RIP.

I was going to post a link to episode 8 of 'Yacht Rock' as a tribute, but it's an acquired taste and I don't wish to be accused of disrespect.
