    Unusual animals in pop videos

After watching The Clash video for Rock the Casbah, the first time I've seen it for years, I laughed at the starring role of the armadillo.

So it got me thinking - what other videos have unusual or unexpected animals in them?

Talk Talk "it's my life " has just about every animal you could ask for, including ants, tadpoles, squid and salamanders.

Monkeys with human faces in Basement Jaxx's Where's Your Head At?

I'd hazard that that's pretty unusual.

What kind of animal was Flat Eric?

          Does the Annoying Frog count?

That armadillo always made me mentally sing "Armadillo" in that little piano riff between "Sharif don't like it" and "Rock the Casbah". It scans perfectly.

I thought Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf featured a chameleon (or gecko), but I was mistaken.

However, I did spot a cobra and an elephant. And that lass with all the bodypaint, obviously.

Crazy Frog. Not Annoying Frog. Although he was annoying.

Gloria Estefan's Bad Boys features a cat (commonplace) with a lengthy spontaneous erection (untypical).
