As noted elsewhere, this probably was the first time two (ex-)members of the same group died on the very same day of natural causes.

I was sad to learn of Blowfly's death. His gratuitously dirty songs were hilarious.

Strangely, January 2015 was similarly brutal, with 37 music deaths listed against last month's 41 (coming off a December 2014 with 38 listed deaths). But it was easier on the legends. Demis Roussos doesn't really compare to Bowie...
