    Most Niche Album

I was looking through some secondhand records in a charity shop recently and was stunned to find this:

Is it safe to open that link in work?

Yes - colleagues laughing at you might be the worst outcome.

Less than twenty minutes of music - with whoever compiled it seeming to have wrung the flannel dry just finding five workable tracks there.

On the other hand, how about including The Jean Genie and his shared love of chimney stacks?

The fact that it was in the charity shop got me thinking. Maybe somebody bought it and was disappointed it didn't live up to their unjustifiably stratospheric expectations. Or worse still, someone saw it and bought it as a present for a friend or relative. Imagine the shock and confusion you'd have after unwrapping that. I don't think I could go on if someone I knew looked at that album and thought "I know who'll love this."

I would imagine you could sell a good few of those priced around five quid at Christmas when people are desperately seeking secret santa gifts.

I'm prepared to wager that this record:

                https://www.discogs.com/Shitmat-The-Rolf-Harris-Mashup-CD/release/724148

has the "gabba / jungle tributes to the life and work of Rolf Harris" market more or less sewn up, particularly since the Yewtree business. (technically a compilation although a lot of the tracks on it are by made up psuedonyms for noisy breakcore type Shitmat)

It's a fund raising record though so I think the songs would have been written for it.
