    This is really sad, as we just saw him about six months ago, when he looked like a very spry 85 year old.

    A very underrated legend.

              That's the one I was thinking of in particular. "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" and traces of "FM". Though the horns of "Kissing Cousins" provided a template for all Steely Dan horns.

              "Song For My Father" might have influenced Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing" as well.

                Yes I though it was. I never made that link before although it seems obvious listening to it now. as a recording in it's own right, it's perfect.
