David Gray is playing live in the Radio 2 studio this morning. Turns out he's released 11 albums now. First song he played was Babylon.

Presume he was on there to launch the anniversary tour, which is gracing (sic) the country's arenas in the spring, in another one of those examples of acts playing much bigger venues than you expect them to. I know he was big back in the day but still.

Back in the spring he and Dido released new albums in the same week, which made me wonder if we were having some sort of early-00s revival.

Received a CD in the mail from a friend whose band, Hustler, had fleeting and minor fame in the 1970s. So If anyone's been waiting for forty-odd years for a new release here it is...
