It's quite bizarre how few top-grade French singers covered The Beatles. I can't find any covers by Francoise Hardy or Juliette Greco (who, after all inspired "Michelle"; Paul was a long-standing fan) or Gilbert Bécaud (his version if "Something" would have been the second-best cover*, if you can hear it in your head) or Montand or Letronc.
Claude François and Richard Anthony dabbled it a bit. Mireille Mathieu sang "Yesterday" in French, and "All My Loving" in an English duet with Charles Aznavour. Sasha Distel did "Michelle" in English. But the big names generally didn't do Beatles.

Here's Volume 2, with Maurice Chevalier's Green Submarine, and -- crucial stuff -- Michelle in French.
