RIP Tim Smith.

Is This the Life? should have been no.1 for weeks in 1988.

Smith never fully recovered from a heart attack in 2008, and died last night, it is reported on the Cardiacs website.

Only got to see them a couple of times, supporting The Wildhearts and think Random Jon Poole might have been on double duty for both bands at the time

the one before last Wildhearts album had a tribute to him actually but can’t seem to get the link to work properly
