    Terence Blanchard and Donald Harrison made five albums together between 1983 and 1988, all employing the same post-bop style that had proved so successful for the Messengers. This is ‘Oliver’s Twist’ from ‘New York Second Line’ (1984). Blanchard on trumpet, Harrison alto saxophone, Mulgrew Miller piano, Lonnie Plaxico bass and Marvin ‘Smitty’ Smith drums.
