It has been going round my head this week, with a change in the lyrics due to the current situation at 10 Downing Street.

I read that Terry Tolken died last week. He started No. 6 Records and signed some cool alternative rock bands to Elektra. I met him a few times and he was a really nice guy. One of the bands he signed was Afghan Whigs.

There’s a song called ‘Fatso’ by Winduscher that’s getting a lot of airplay on 6Music at the moment and I keep thinking it sounds familiar. Then I remember ‘Where The Pathways Meet’ from Sun Ra’s ‘Linquidity’ album and it’s clear enough,

Doing a spot of DIY earlier and this came up on shuffle. It's been a while since I last heard it (quite possibly when it was first released) and I'd forgotten what a lovely little song it is. 'Weather Any Storm' from Dominic 'Mocky' Salole's 2015 album 'Key Change'.

                                        Excellent

It had only recently occurred to me that the theme music just works so beautifully to introduce the show and perfectly fits its pace.

Probably due to the discussion of old V8s elsewhere the other day, can't get this prime piece of 60s surf doo-wop out of my brain.
