            What a wildly addictive song. Can't find it to download anywhere, though.

              It's on most of their comps, or of course, you can take it directly off YT.

                    Difficult, "Mirror" which sounds like a mix of Throwing Muses and Sleater Kinney. If either of those bands float your boat, I think you will dig this song.

                            Straight to 3:40 for a piece of iconic live news reporting and the greatest rock guitar break in the history of music, a.k.a. my favourite.

                                Someone put this on a mixtape for me around '88 and it gets stuck into your brain.

                                                A little exploration of the world of Spanish music in the early 80s. Polanski y el Ardor are categorised on wiki etc pages as punk but really they were not, the saxophone helping to create something a bit different. The group didn't last long but left some great songs, of which this is one:

                                                At the same time there were other, more "conventional" punk bands around, such as Interterror:

                                                Or Ultimo Resorte;

                                                Finally, something from Kortatu:

                                                    Hold on! it's never enough
                                                    It's never enough until you heart stops beating
                                                    The deeper you get, the sweeter the pain
                                                    Don't give up the game until your heart stops beating
