Today's Earworm
I was having a mid-90s summer earworm moment -
Len, Steal My Sunshine
OMC, How Bizarre
Johnny Ray, Are You Johnny Ray?
- and spent a little time looking into them. Didn't realise (I guess there's no reason I would) that the lead singer of OMC died years ago, only 40.

Today's Earworm
Good song, that.
But not enough to dislodge the "Replace us with the things that do the job better" refrain from Hot Chip's Huarache Lights. Just as well it's a cracking tune.

Today's Earworm
"I am McCrain of the 20th Maine/
I come from County Clare.
The Brits were hanging all the Fenians/
So I took my leave from there.
We crossed the ocean on the Arias/
The vilest tub afloat.
The captain's brother was a railroad man/
And he met us at the boat.
I am McCrain of the 20th Maine
I marched to hell and back again
I fight with Joshua Chamberlain
And we're all going down to Dixie."
Steve Earle and the Del McCrory Band.
I'm sure that I misheard some of the lyrics but the tune won't leave my head.
