A blues/rock ballad so fucking powerful and so fucking perfect it is blowing my mind. Even though the first 17 seconds are shit. I heard this song, from 1997, for the first time ever last week and I love it more intensely every time I play it. Please ignore the stupid 17 second intro of cliched sad violins, it's worth getting through that (or just by-pass it): It was released as a single and only got to number 46, which means either that the music distribution industry of the late 1990s was seriously unfit for purpose or that people have no taste.
