A category absolutely made for A-Ha, I'm sure you'll agree.

One could, of course, make a massive list of Norwegian black metal bands. But that's not really pop.

Norse pertains to all (ancient) Scandinavia, doesn't it? (I'm unclear about the term's true scope.) But if it does, then the Swedes rule this category. There's just so much from them (not all good, admittedly) in the Electropop category alone. A Swedish friend assures me that music effectively constitutes Swedens no.1 source of financial product, these days. Not sure whether to believe that or not ...and I can't be arsed to look into it and analyse the criteria.

Suffice to say they make a fuck of a lot of music!

Royksopp for me, and the JLC mix of What Else is There?

We don't speak of A-Ha in this house.
