I thought that some here might like to know that Marc Almond will be undertaking a short tour of small venues in the Autumn. See his website for details. The venues include the Buxton Arts Centre and the Library Theatre, in Darwen. Lucia Lanigan and I went to see him, a couple of years back, in the similarly intimate surroundings of Wiltons Music Hall in the East End and it was superb, so get your tickets now, if your interest is piqued.
I also thought it's worth starting a thread about him anyway. He's done such a consummate chameleon act over the years that he deserves some respect just for that, I feel. Oh, and he's performed possibly my favourite cover version, too: 'A Salty Dog', originally by Procul Harum.
