                                      Sorry Sean. I forgot that your Oireachteas has gerrymandered seats of different sizes...

                                      Formula Q = T/(S+1) + 1, where

                                      Q = quota needed to get elected

                                      T = total valid poll

                                      S = number of seats to be filled

                                      Q is the lowest possible vote share which can be reached by all successful candidates but no other. So in this example

                                      5 seats to be filled in constituency Cnoc na Carraige/ Carrick Hill/ Krakowskie Przedmiescie

                                      Valid poll 12,000

                                      Quota = 12,000/ (5+1) + 1 = 2,001
