What's the adjudication on Guy Profumo 's 7-letter rendering of the intended 8-letter solution? 'Salamed' is not a variant spelling that I can find, and the clue then relies on this.

I'd say that since the actual answer to the previous one is wrong (and as it was an anagram, there really isn't any good reason why it should be (wrong on anagram, wrong on actual word, wrong on letter count), either Guy should re-clue, or someone else should.

(But I think i am a bit of a stickler on these things. Others are far more forgiving of this kind of thing)
